Itinerary

Our first location that we will be visiting after our pick up from Edinburgh is the magical Hermitage forest. It is home to some of the tallest Douglas Fir trees in the British isles. From here we enjoy the stunning views of the Black Lynn Falls from the enchanting Ossian’s Hall.

As we head north into the Scottish Cairngorm National Park, we will take a visit to Dalwhinnie which is home to Scotland’s highest whisky distillery. Enjoy a traditional tasting at the whisky bar accompanied with some local chocolates from the world famous Highland Chocolatier, Iain Burnett!

We then travel to Scotland’s most famous valley, Glencoe. Feel history come alive when we tell the tales of the massacre of the Macdonald clan, which took place in 1692. This is where we will stop for our lunch stop at the award winning Clachaig Inn.

Crossover the ancient national fault line and travel into the Scottish West Highlands where the landscapes change dramatically. This is where we first catch a glimpse of the Rannoch Moor, which is covered in heather, lochans and peatbogs. You will also enjoy stunning views of the Black Mount and the Buachaille Etive Mor which is one of Scotlands most recognizable mountains.

We will soon drive towards the stunning Trossach National Park where we will stop to feed the local highland coos. We will then take the short drive to Loch Lubnaig to enjoy the views of the Scottish Highlands.

We will then drive you back towards your accommodation back in Edinburgh.
