Tour details:
- Departs from your accommodation in Glasgow, Stirling or Edinburgh at 8.30am.
- Return at 6pm approximately.

Itinerary:
Your driver-guide will pick you up and head along the scenic Ayrshire coast. First, we visit Culzean Castle, where you can stroll through the walled gardens and enjoy breathtaking views over the Firth of Clyde toward the Isle of Arran. Then, take a guided tour to appreciate the castle’s stunning décor and history.
Afterwards, we continue to Alloway, the birthplace of Robert Burns. Here, you will explore the Burns Museum and Cottage, see sites from his poems such as the Brig o’ Doon, and walk through Burns Gardens to the Grecian-style temple honoring the poet.
Later, after lunch at the Brig o’ Doon Restaurant, we drive to Ardrossan Harbour to board the ferry to Arran. Finally, your driver will drop you at your accommodation in Brodick, where you can relax and enjoy the evening.
Today, we start in Brodick with a visit to Brodick Castle, once home to the Dukes of Hamilton and filled with historic artefacts. Next, we explore the northern mountains of Arran, stopping at the ruins of Lochranza Castle and the iconic Machrie Moor Standing Stones, a mysterious Neolithic site.
Afterwards, we head south to the charming fishing village of Blackwaterfoot for refreshments. Finally, we return to Brodick, ending the day surrounded by the island’s stunning scenery.
This morning, we travel to the south of Arran for a whisky tour at Lagg Distillery, where the island’s historic “Arran Waters” tradition is being revived. Then, we walk to the stunning Glenashdale Falls (Gaelic: Eas a’ Chrannaig), a beautiful waterfall along the Glenashdale Burn. If you have the energy, we continue to the Giants’ Graves, a series of Neolithic tombs over 5,000 years old.
After the walk, we return to Brodick to catch the ferry back to the mainland. Finally, your driver will take you to your accommodation, concluding your immersive three-day Ayrshire and Arran adventure.
